A total of 11,101 students enrolled during the 2017 spring semester at The University of Alabama were named to the Dean's List with an academic record of 3.5 (or above) or the President's List with an academic record of 4.0 (all A's). The UA Dean's and President's lists recognize full-time undergraduate students. The lists do not apply to graduate students or undergraduate students who take less than a full course load.

The University of Alabama awarded approximately 5,000 degrees during spring commencement May 5-7. Miami University students who are ranked in the top twenty percent of undergraduate students within each division for first semester 2016-17 have been named to the dean's list recognizing academic excellence.

The incoming group of new students includes approximately 737 freshmen and 83 transfer students. They come from 17 U.S. states and seven foreign countries and territories. It is the most diverse class in Carthage history.

Twenty-three seniors in Trine University's Allen School of Engineering & Technology were inducted into the Order of the Engineer during a ring ceremony May 6.

The incoming group of new students comprises approximately 840 students from 19 U.S. states and five foreign countries. With an average high school GPA of 3.32, the Class of 2019 also ranks among the most successful ever.
